There are a variety of horses looking for loving homes at Blue Cross – from ridden horses, to youngsters and companions. Blue Cross take in, rehabilitate and rehome horses & ponies; we also provide advice and support to owners.
Rolleston Rehoming Centre
At the Rolleston centre near Burton-on-Trent, they have facilities for up to 55 horses and also have horses looking for new homes on the Home2Home scheme. The horses are rehomed on a loan basis which can be long or short term, depending on what you are looking for and the needs of the individual horses.

The centre is open to visitors on Wednesday 12-4pm (7pm during the summer) Thursday, Saturday and Sunday 12.00 – 4.00 pm. They are also open Monday, Tuesday and Friday but visiting is by appointment only.
Burford Rehoming Centre
Burford have facilities for around 60 horses. They also offer long and short term loans depending on the needs of both horse and owner.
