History:  Felix came to HorseWorld in January 2015 from a site where a number of horses were being fly grazed. He was found severely emaciated alongside a stream where another young colt’s body could be seen dead in the water. It is thought that the dead foal was trying to reach vegetation by the water as there was so little for them to eat, but had slipped and being so thin and weak was unable to pull himself out. Fortunately Felix was found before he suffered a similar fate. With the help of the RSPCA and a sister charity he was brought straight to HorseWorld where a vet was waiting to assess him. He was very weak for a long time and had to be lifted by staff throughout the day and night as he couldn’t get himself up. Slowly he regained his strength and began his rehabilitation.

Behaviour:  He is super friendly but can be a little pushy so will need a home with someone used to young horses and can continue to train him appropriately.
