History Ed was abandoned in a field near Glastonbury in 2003. He was quickly rehomed and enjoyed several years with his loaner competing in dressage and show jumping. He was sadly returned to HorseWorld in 2010 and due to his age, behaviour and an issue with his back the decision was taken to retire him.

Use Retired – companion.

Behaviour Ed is a lovely chap but he can get stressed if separated from other horses and when brought into a stable so requires a confident and competent loaner. Living out in the field with his friends he is a relaxed and friendly boy who loves attention. He can live with mares and geldings, but does get attached to some mares which can make him stressed and he may mount them.

Potential Ed would be best suited as a companion to a retired horse that lives out year round. He does well over winter as long as he is rugged and has access to plentiful forage.
