History Alfie was born in the Sanctuary. He was a strong little foal from day one, he definitely knows his own mind!

Behaviour Alfie is still young and can push his boundaries with new handlers. He is an outgoing lad, affectionate, intelligent and loves to keep his mind active. Alfie is a confident pony, he is sociable and playful in the paddock.He is currently being backed and is taking to this very well. He is really enjoying his work.

Veterinary Alfie has a clean bill of health.

Potential Alfie has the potential to make a fantastic ride and drive pony. He is best suited to an active and experienced carer with whom he can continue his education under saddle. Alfie could be registered with the Dartmoor Hill Pony Association if the new carer requests this, enabling him to enter Dartmoor Hill Pony Qualifying Shows.
