World Horse Welfare Groom

World Horse Welfare is an international horse charity that improves the lives of horses in the UK and around the world through education, campaigning and hands-on care.  We currently have a vacancy for an experienced groom at our rehoming and rehabilitation centre Hall Farm which is located in the village of Snetterton.

A World Horse Welfare groom’s work involves the daily care and monitoring of a number of equines undergoing rehabilitation.  The successful candidate’s personal qualities will include patience, an ‘even’ temperament and the confidence to work around difficult horses going through rehabilitation.  The willingness to work irregular hours, in all conditions, is also necessary. Ideally you will have experience of working on a busy yard and be competent and confident in handling and riding a wide range of equines including youngsters and problem horses.

A sense of humour with good communication and interpersonal skills are also useful when having to deal with members of the general public.
