This position is suitable for a new or recently qualified graduate who is keen to develop their equine skills but also has an interest in equine welfare. You will be based at our fully equipped veterinary hospital near Honiton, Devon.
In addition to the hospital-based duties, we will expect the intern to be involved in ambulatory work on any of our six local farms that care for 2,700 animals. In addition to routine equine work we take a herd health based approach to our veterinary care providing evidence based management advice.
We are a friendly team of 10 vets and 6 nurses, who enjoy our work and are passionate about donkeys and their role in the world.
