As Adoption Ambassador, you will be the face of The Donkey Sanctuary, actively engaging with visitors and promoting our Adopt a Donkey scheme. Working alongside the visitor engagement team you will help meet challenging targets, as well as providing a fantastic welcome. You will use your enthusiasm and passion to build visitor engagement with the charity’s worldwide work.
You will be responsible for managing the adoptions area in the retail environment, actively promoting the adoption scheme and the charity’s mission to our visitors, explaining how their adoption will support the work of The Donkey Sanctuary worldwide and drive the recruitment of new supporters to the adoption scheme to an agreed target.
Experience of conducting presentations and managing teams is required as you will need to conduct formal presentations via a PA system at each of the adoption donkey paddocks to visitors explaining the work of The Donkey Sanctuary; as well as manage a team of two seasonal adoption hosts over the summer season ensuring that adoption conversions are maximised.
