An exciting opportunity has arisen at The Donkey Sanctuary. We are looking for an exceptional student to join us in our growing Audit & Assurance Department next summer.
The Donkey Sanctuary is one of the largest animal charities in the UK and the largest equine charity operating internationally in over 30 countries worldwide. The Donkey Sanctuary is working for a world where donkeys and mules live free from suffering, and their contribution to humanity is fully valued. We will achieve this by transforming the quality of life for donkeys, mules and people worldwide through greater understanding, collaboration and support, and by promoting lasting, mutually life-enhancing relationships.
Audit and Assurance is an independent and objective assurance and consulting activity that is guided by a philosophy of adding value to improve the operations of The Donkey Sanctuary. Audit and Assurance assists The Donkey Sanctuary in accomplishing its objectives by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the organisation’s governance, risk management and internal control.
The Audit and Assurance Internship is a 6-week programme and is an opportunity for you to gain experience working with a collaborative, dynamic and inclusive team.
