The British Horse Society is the nation’s leading equine charity with a passion for horses that is backed by knowledge and expertise. The BHS represents and provides a range of services for horse riders, horse owners, enthusiasts and professionals.
This department is vital to the success of the Society by growing our membership, donation and gift aid income that allows us to carry out more work for every horse and rider.
Working as part of a small team, but equally able to work on your own initiative, you will be actively selling the British Horse Society through listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriate information on the Charity, its services and the benefits of membership. This is usually over the phone but could be face to face at equestrian shows and events. You will have excellent verbal communications skills and telephone manner and have a high degree of accuracy, dealing with payments of Direct Debits, cash and credit cards; data inputting and general and insurance queries.
