Salary: £23,000 – £26,000 pa depending on qualifications and experience

Job Summary

This newly created position provides an exciting opportunity for an individual to play a key role in fulfilling the School’s aim of diversifying and expanding its Outdoor and Adventurous Activities programme. The key responsibilities of the role include: management of the livery yard; management, coaching and development of the equine team; working strategically with the Senior Leadership Team and Outdoor Learning Coordinator on how to develop the equestrian offer; and for those students who do not have their own horse, responsibility for and monitoring of the delivery of high quality riding lessons, Pony Club, competitions and stable management at Urchinwood Manor.

This is a live-in role.

About You

You’ll be a talented leader with an ability to engage with our students and stakeholders at all levels. You’ll have the knowledge and experience of managing a high quality livery yard and of developing riders. You’ll play a key part in shaping our current programme as well as helping to steer us in the right direction for the future.
