The British Horse Society is the nation’s largest equine charity with a passion for horses that is backed by knowledge and expertise. The BHS represents and provides a range of services for horse riders, horse owners, enthusiasts and professionals.
The safety of horses, riders and carriage drivers in all situations is one of the key charitable aims of the British Horse Society.
The Team Leader reports to the Director of Safety and manages the daily tasks within the BHS Safety Department and the safety volunteers. This includes driving the Society’s campaigning work (e.g. The Dead Slow Campaign). They will lead the team to ensure the promotion of all aspects of equine and rider safety to the BHS members, other organisations and the general public.
