BHS Regional Manager for the North

The British Horse Society (BHS) is the UK’s leading membership charity dedicated to the Horse and horse riders. From our work with bridleways, safety and welfare to offering first-class equestrian qualifications, everything we do is driven by the desire to improve the lives of horses and bring horses and people together. 

As part of the Development Team, your primary role will be to develop the presence of the Society in the North Region. Working closely with BHS Volunteer Committees, Head Office and external bodies, you will help to raise our profile, organise events, support volunteers and represent the Society at local and national equestrian events.

Knowledge of the equestrian industry is essential.  You must have a flexible approach to working as evening and weekend work is required.

You must have excellent interpersonal, communication, organisational and IT skills. You will be a self starter and be able to work alone and as part of a team. Applicants must reside in the Region.
