He was very nervous and underweight and it has taken a lot of time, patience and consistent handling to get Spirit to gain confidence around people. ____________________________________________________________________________ Use Non-ridden companion only ____________________________________________________________________________ Behaviour Spirit is a very special pony who is looking for a home with someone who has lots of time and knowledge to bring out the best in him. He is a sensitive chap who likes routine and lacks confidence when faced with new situations. Spirit does get very worried with the vet so a confident, calm handler would be needed at these times. It would be lovely to find him a quiet, adult home where he could still get the attention he deserves. Spirit has a wonderful temperament and is lovely with other horses. We hoped Spirit might make a riding pony but after intensive rehabilitation it became clear that although this would not be in his best interests, he would make a great companion pony due to his sweet nature with other horses.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an aspiring individual to join a great team and gain invaluable experience in fundraising.  This position is full time and based at our Head Office in Snetterton, Norfolk but may require some travel, both to attend events around the UK and the charity’s office in Central London.

The successful candidate will work directly for our Director of Fundraising. The key responsibilities of this role are to support and initiate the management and development of a portfolio of major donors and charitable trusts, and capital fundraising campaigns.

We are looking for a driven individual, ideally with some experience in a fundraising role within a non-profit organisation.  You must possess strong written and oral communication skills, excellent research skills, be confident, personable and diplomatic with the ability to deal positively and effectively with some of the charity’s most valuable supporters. You will be able to work as part of a busy team and on your own initiative. Relevant training will be offered, as required.
