This fine day was supported and attended by NEWC members. Veterinary care and advice was provided by Redwings, passporting by The British Horse Society, ID completions on the day were administered by the Blue Cross and Redwings and the microchipping was supplied by the RSPCA.
Equine agencies coming together like this to use their expertise for the benefit of the local community builds up trust and opens up further opportunities. The horse owners on this day organised their horses to ensure the day ran smoothly arranging them on three sites and putting them into safety pens where necessary. Each horse was inspected aged and sized by the vet who also gave any welfare advice as requested by each owner.
Appreciation and thanks was expressed by the owners with a request that NEWC returns in the spring to passport the many foals.
