British Horse Society: Buying & Owning your first horse and The cost of owning and keeping a horse and First Horse Owner Information Pack BHS also run courses such as Horse Owners Certificate which has four levels and is suitable for new horse owners. ILPH: Responsible Horse Owners Talks are offered nationwide to groups of people who want to learn more about what is involved in horse ownership.
